Join us for a comprehensive 2-day total in 5 hours workshop designed for beginners eager to explore the essentials of aerial yoga. This immersive experience will guide you through fundamental techniques and poses, emphasizing strength, flexibility, and core aerial yoga skills. Participants will learn crucial entry methods and additional essential poses like Cupid, Open Hammock, Cross Back Straddle, and Angel Pose.

 What You'll Learn 

Day 1: Foundation Building

  1. Introduction to Aerial Yoga-Overview of aerial yoga principles and benefits Understanding safety guidelines and precautions 
  2. Hammock Basics and Setup-Proper hammock setup and adjustment Familiarization with the fabric, grips, and holds 
  3. Strength and Flexibility Fundamentals-Core exercises for stability and strength Flexibility techniques for enhancing range of motion in hips, shoulders, and spine 
  4. Crucial Entry MethodsInversions-Introduction to safe and effective inversion techniques, focusing on spinal decompression and alignment. Basic Straddle- Learn the foundational straddle pose, emphasizing core engagement and proper form. Manta Ray: Master this foundational pose, enhancing balance, strength, and coordination.  

Day 2: Expanding Skills and Techniques

  1. Review and Warm-UpRecap of Day 1 techniques Warm-up exercises to prepare for further polish up routine. 
  2. Entry MethodsCupid Pose: A graceful pose enhancing balance and flexibility. Open Hammock: Explore versatile movements and stretches in the Open Hammock position. Cross Back Straddle: Learn the beautiful Cross Back Straddle pose, focusing on core strength and graceful transitions. Angel Pose: Experience the serene Angel Pose, a calming and heart-opening position that promotes relaxation and balance. 
  3. Creative Sequencing-Combining poses into seamless sequences Exploring creative transitions and movement flow within the hammock 
  4. Cool Down and Relaxation-Gentle stretches to release tension Guided meditation and relaxation techniques to end the practice 
  5. Q&A and Community Sharing-Open session for questions and experience sharing Tips for continuing your aerial yoga practice at home

  • Cost: First 5 enjoy early bird RM500 for 2 workshop.
  • Normal Cost:  RM580 for 2 workshop
  • What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, water bottle, yoga mat (optional), and a willingness to explore new heights!

This workshop is perfect for beginners eager to build a solid foundation in aerial yoga and for those with some experience looking to refine and expand their practice. All fitness levels are welcome.
